SAM JOYNER SOLO/BAND

Born and bred on Chicago Blues, Sam is internationally renowned not just for his blues, but also for his versatility in R&B, jazz, and reggae. His current residency at the iconic “Tipsy Trumpet Restaurant” (formerly Spirits on Bourbon) on Bourbon Street, New Orleans, solidifies his status as a staple in the city’s vibrant music scene.
Sam has graced the stages of major festivals and venues, including the New Orleans Jazzfest, Memphis in May Music Festival and Baton Rouge Blues Fest. His performances at high profile venues like Ground Zero Blues Club in Biloxi. House of Blues and Teddy’s Juke Joint have made him a sought-after artist, whether playing solo, or with his band. With a unique sound that blends Chicago Urban Blues with New Orleans flair, Sam’s original music offers a fresh yet familiar experience that captivates audiences. His international tours have taken him across the Pacific Islands, Asia, and more recently, Lima, Peru, where he played a pivotal role in establishing the local blues scene.
